The Power of Reassurance

Reassurance is a powerful concept and thing to sow into the lives of your children and your friends lives, or those under your authority in the workplace and learning things.

Lack of Reassurance given to a child can create a Lack of Confidence later on. Or worse… it can create a child who is expected to believe in words that are void of a ‘follow-up relationally intimate assurance' to press forward in general or to press forward because they are doing said ‘Command’ or ‘Task’ correctly.

The last thing we want to teach children is to follow Commands empty of any Substance to go about it or complete it.

In the end, there may need to be a simple expectation placed in order that the young one to later carry the Word spoken or Command spoken or the Task given independently and only check back in when it is they might need simple guidance but eventually what you are creating is a personal confidence towards carrying out Tasks, Commands and the Spoken Word.

What you are sowing seeds into is a concept called Independence. Independence REQUIRES confidence. Confidence REQUIRES Faith in and of oneself, yet given by an Authority having cultivated it via their Spoken Word, Commands with oversight. This is a reality of Sonship! To create a mature son or daughter of your own but also to become a mature son or daughter yourself in God.

That “Faith” comes from hearing … and “Hearing” comes by the Words of God.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“God” is also a concept for “Lord”. And lord is a baseline concept for someone who exercises authority. Which is where the phrase “lording it over you” comes from. Expressing how someone is exercising their authority over you.

But we should not do this exercising of Authority simply for the Lust of being able to exercise it in hopes of Obedience(s) and Submission(s) and “Respect”. That’s actually not real Respect. It’s tyranny. It’s Lust fulfilled in a Leadership position.

There is no true Respect earned without relationship given in Love via Compassion. Be Compassionate and give Reassurance!

Be Compassionate and procure Faith and Confidence in and of oneself to then carry themselves with ‘Esteem of Self'. Because that is actually what we are procuring! Self-Esteem and Self-Worth.

They, your children, will always remember and thank you for procuring such a beautiful Confidence. Better than that though they will have Peace and Security and Prolonged Life.

And they will never forget you for what you gave them! You have equipped them for life!

They will have a deep belief in them, that: “No matter what comes my way! I can overcome it! I can tackle it in one way or another… break it down and bring it to nothing! And if I can’t do it completely by myself… I always have my Dad (or Mom) to refer to for help! But heck! I am going to give it my best try first because I KNOW I am capable! More than capable!”
