Helping with community mindset

Is it appropriate to refuse technical assistance to a person who dislikes you? I don’t believe it’s the best option.

Sometimes we need to figure out which path to take: follow our hearts or contribute to the community’s growth.

One day, the person who used to be my friend stopped answering my calls and even responding to my texts. Then, after many years, she reached out to me for technical assistance. I’m not going to lie: The phone call made me feel bad, and I saw it as a provocation.

I learned that if we want to contribute to our community’s empowerment, we must set aside our personal feelings and family issues. Simply offer your assistance with a community mindset.
