Is Soundcloud promotion legit?

A lot of music producer have cold feet about music promotion. They think that if the music is good people will listen to it and that you won’t need much promotion. They couldn’t be more wrong and 99% of the famous artists aired on the radio had extensive promotion campaigns before getting there.

Is Soundcloud promotion less legit than traditional promotion?

No it’s not. Buying fake plays is not really legit but even thought tones of very famous artists did it and still do it on all their new releases. In the other hand, reposts campaigns are more than legit and it’s very difficult to get your music out there without it.
