Update!!! I did some investigation and called the 800 MoneyGram, they advised me this is the Latest Scam Alert!!! If you get a money order(s) especially from someone you don’t know personally, call the 800number on the back (if there isn’t one that’s 1st sign it’s Counterfeit) verify the money order # and $ amount with the issuer before cashing. The scammer sends more than originally agreed, then ask you you cash it at your bank, wire the remainder to someone you don’t know. By then they have YOUR money, when the check doesn’t clear you’re responsible for the entire amount. I’m suspicious by nature, did some investigation and I caught this before I attempted to cash and glad I did. Be business smart and listen to your gut. So happy I did ~ I just hope this helps prevent someone else from becoming a victim.””
