MY JOURNEY INTO THE WORLD OF SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERING.

Before and after my first degree as an Economists i have always wanted to learn how to design and develop a web application and i also love reading about new technology and how it can impact humanity in a good way and on the long run. Coming into the world of “Software Quality Assurance" started in the year 2020 when my brother who lived in Lagos told me about an amazing opportunity to finally be a part of this amazing industry and i was excited about it and 2 months later i quite my job and moved to Lagos, Nigeria from Abuja, Nigeria.

My first day at Netow Solutions was awesome because the people i met there were really cool and humble. They made me feel at home and i never felt like i was in a office full of strangers. I remember during my first day at Netow Solutions my boss asked me to join them in a group lecture where we learnt about automation with cypress.io and it was very interesting and that was my first experience learning what software automation really do and watching how cypress could interact with a website was really a good start for me because it opened myind to what automation is really all about. in the coming days and weeks started off with test case creation, API testing using Postman, and then Automation using selenium JAVA. My Boss Mr. Tobi and the entire staff of Netow Solutions made learning as a Quality Assurance Engineer as simple as it can get.

Going forward i was always encouraged by my boss and the entire team on learning about new tools and i have always challenged myself in learning more about selenium automation with Java and also trying to learn about other automation tools.

In the future i am looking forward to learning about new ways to make Software Quality Assurance simplified and effective and also be a light and path in the software industry Africa and the world at large.

I am excited about what the future holds.
